Every chapter of the Commonplace Edition closes with a prompt.
Commonplace
Falling down the well, Alice talks to herself. She says “Latitude or Longitude” without knowing what they are, and is “rather glad” no one hears her say “Antipathies.” Is she talking to keep herself company, or to practise being clever? Underline two things she says aloud, one for each answer.
At the close of Chapter I, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
