Commonplace
Henry tells Canterbury to “take heed,” then asks, “May I with right and conscience make this claim?” Canterbury answers, “The sin upon my head, dread sovereign!” and goes on, from a verse in the Book of Numbers to the Black Prince’s victories. Bracket the rest of that speech. Does it answer what Henry asked?
At the close of Act I, Henry V.
